I'm in the market for some Rocks or wood stumps to place in my aquarium. I already have some lava rock, but wanted to know what other natural items I can add. What types of rock/wood are the best to use, and which should I stay away from?

I stay away from porous or white/light rocks.
Woods I use are all hardwoods, ie oak, walnut, ect. I dont collect wood from waterways as who knows whats in the water. |

When i had my 110 gallon, i used lava rock and drift wood. Or I would look for wood from running streams, just watch out for snails. lol

Snails are the least of the worries with live collected decor, DW holds tons of bugs in it.
