Default Question from new member about Cichlids tank
Hi all! I just joined, I was wondering if someone could tell me what other fish species can go into a tank with african cichlids? I just setup a tank, I am going to buy a bunch of chiclids to fill the tank, but my wife and kids would like to know if we can put anything else in with them, I heard from the local pet store ( which i am skepical of) that cat fish can go in with them, can anyone else tell me any others? Thanks for any info

Many African Cichlids tend to get large so don't buy any small fish. Large African Catfish, Rainbows and Barbs should do fine.
