Default Question about substrate

Ok, so as many of you might know petco had there 72 hour summer sale thing so I thought it would be a good idea to buy 5 20lbs bags of CaribSea Eco Complete substrate. My question is im going to start landscaping my 55g tank with live plants and was wondering if this substrate would be ok for my fish. I will be moving my rainbow shark, common pleco, and 7tiger barbs into this tank and was wondering if this substrate with lots of live plants would be ok for the fishes. Thanks for any replies.

Yes Eco-Complete will be fine with your fish. The only thing it is not good for is avid diggers as it tends to cloud up the water if it gets stirred up alot.

Yeah ive never had any issuses with ecocomplete. Its a great substrate.I dont think diggers will stir it too bad,or about as bad as sand anyhow.
