Pleco query

I Have A Beautiful Pleco Which Has Grown To Just Over 6 Inches In About 4 Months. I Have Him Or Her In A 20 Gallon Tank And Am Worried About It Growing To Big For The Tank. Should I Be Trying To Find Him A New Home? Biggetr Tank Is Not An Option For Me.

20 Gallon Freshwater
3 White Skirted Tetras
3 Head And Tail Light Tetras
3 Neon Tetras.
1 Pleco

If its a common yes find him a new home or give it back to lfs to find him a new home.

Indeed. If you can't get a bigger tank and he's a common pleco, he will get quite large (Susankat posted a pic of her's on another thread... and it's HUGE!)

You can try getting a BN pleco. They stay fairly small. (3-4 inches usually)

yeah they commonly get well over a foot and a half long... FAR too large for a 20 gallon...
