Default PLEASE tell me hat is this ugly bug in my fish tank ?
Hi guys,

as i was emptying my tank yesterday (fishless cycle finished) , i noticed some bugs in it , they are really ugly ! And i noticed something that looks like spider webs . Dont know where they came from,i guess with plants,there was no fish in it , today i put dwarft male gourami as he was chasing 2 females in the other tank.

I took some pictures of these bugs,in the picture they look really big,but they are about 5-7mm , very small .

I want to know what they are and how to get rid of them,as i am scared to put my hands in a tank now ....

This is probably a Dmaselfly Nymph. They eat small fish by biting them and sucking out their juices. They are found only in very clean water with high O2 levels, Larger fish (Trout, Bass) love to eat them.
