Default Plants that grow in decorative gravel

Asides from moss is there anything that wouldnt have a problem thriving in a tank substrated with decorative graval? Or any sugestions how to change my substrate without disturbing the fish (only have one tank). Any information would be helpfull and greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Plants that grow in decorative gravel

I have some very small clay pots (about 2 in diameter) that I put sand into and planted my Amazon Sword in. I bury it in the gravel and cover the top of the sand with gravel as well. It seems to be doing well. Not exactly the solution you may be looking for, but that's how I've gotten around the gravel and plants issue.

Now I wish I had read up on substrates a bit more before I started my tank. Oh well, live and learn, I guess.
