Checking out the fish at Petco yesterday and I was surprised to see Halfbeaks, and Needle Nose Gars. I sure didn't expect that!

Wow! The half beaks stay pretty small don't they?
But the Needle Nose Gars can get uber long! (And are kinda' aggressive are they not?) I wonder if they know what they are selling.....

Gars are ambush predators and will eat anything they can fit into their mouths. They are very mellow but if it fits in his mouth then it will get eaten. The coolest part is how they ambush their food, it's so cool to see.
