So i recently added a Peacock Eel to one of my tanks and I love this guy he's awsome. I feed him an earth worm every other day which he seems to like though all of the other fish have now recently decided they do as well. One thing I find curious though is everything I have read and researched avout this thing is that they are suppossed to be shy and just burry themselves in the substrate and poke their head out and then eat at night. The first two days that is exactly what he did but the last 4 days he has been so social just like a normal fish in a community tank though he paces up and down and back and fourth swimming like a pregnant guppy. Is this normal behavior for them or could there be something wrong? The tank is healthy and I have actually never lost a fish in the 4 months this tank has been running.
thanks

its probably fine but check the type of substrate recommended for the eel to make sure what you have isnt irritating it to the point it stays out of it.
