Tried looking online with no success, I'm wondering if a red belly Pacu can be with another from the pet store which will be much smaller.
about my Pacu: I think it is female by the dorsal fin but not sure, is about 2 years old, I adopted it a year ago from a kid, she was lucky to have survived because going weeks without food and never had her tank cleaned even once (hardy fish I know), she may be smaller than most at this point (8 inches) because of that, but she has gotten great care, 80 degree clean water, eats all the algae wafers she wants, chicken and sometimes worms and other bugs I find around the house that she adores. She eats a lot but she goes absolutely nuts for anything alive, especially small fish (which I know is bad, but I give in), so... will she eat another Pacu? I'd like her to have a friend but it's not easy finding one her size. |
