Default overflow or no overflow

I'm in the market for a new fishtank, I'm going with a 180 gallon. It is going to be a planted community tank. I'm going to go with canister filters. All the 180,s that I've seen in the LFS have had overflows on them, and I don't think I want to go with them. I would just like to get some opionions on the overflow vs. no overflow issue. I talked to the guy at the store today and he said that he could get the 180 without overflows. What do you guys think? Thanks.

I say go where your comfort level takes you. The overflow will hide some of your normal tank items. Just a personal preference mostly.

Yes, I was thinking of that, It would hide the plumbing, and I could probrobly put the heaters in there also. I just don't know if I like the way that they look in there. I don't know, I guess they would look better than seeing all the plumbing and the heaters. I have to give it some more thought. thanks.
