i have 3 oto cats ( will be getting atleast 3 more within the next 2 weeks
) i am doing veggie wafers and algea wafers. they don't seem extremely interested in the wafers. so i put a bit of celery stick in the tank with them and they are going for that. is there anything besides celery and zuccini i could feed them ? ![]() |

Personally I feed my otos algea wafers to dissolve in the water but they hardly ever eat them directly. Though my trio absolutely love zucchini. I slice it and microwave it for a minute. Then it usually has to sit in the tank most of the day until its soft enough for them

You can also feed spinach (but sparingly, because there's something in it - can't remember what - that's bad if they get too much.)
I used to feed mine zucchini.... I've just been letting them eat algae and algae wafers for the last few months though and they still have fat little bellies. Should crack out the zucch' again for them.... but it rots soooo fast! Like, 12 hours and it's falling apart!
