Just curious to see who is still using old stuff or the oldest stuff.

The oldest thing I have is an Elite 799 air pump from 1993.

Lol. Ok, oldest I have came with the tank I purchased used. New to me ~ 5 years ago. (2007) Aquaclear 70 HOB filter.

I still have a 20 gallon from 1975.

My 55 gallon's warranty expired in 1985. So I am guessing it was bought a few years before that. I have a Marina air pump from the late 80's early 90's and a Second Nature Whisper 2 filter that i think is from the same time frame.

I bought my Diatom filter in either 1973 or 1974. Haven't used it for while so I'm not sure if it works or not. It's a bit of work to set it up but it sure does, as they say here, polish the water.

If this was last year at this time I could have said "I bought my 55 gal in 1973" but it's gone now. I may regret doing that because this site has given me the urge to try raising fish.
