Okay I've been away for some time it's just school has been just though, Okay lets get down to business, so I got some Java moss, I put it in my 55g community it did great, grew like crazy, mind you it didn't have Co2 so, while reading through some articles online I found that we have a much higher growth rate if we apply Co2, and that has been very contradicted as every plant profile for java moss that I've read says it dosn't need Co2, but what if I applied what would happen ? well earlier today I built a DIY Co2 system and I separated a clump o java moss, put it on the window still and now I put in the Co2 which is bubbling away at the moment, I will have pics up by tomorrow so yall can see the progress, but I want to know has any body done this experiment just to see the results ?
Okay second question, as some of you may know I have ''bred'' wild guppies in the past, but I've moved my focus now on fancier guppies, since each pair of fancy guppies in my city are roughly 6$R which is about 4 buck US$ so yea thats the low rate ones, so they have become very expensive and are in demand, I decide to breed and sell them, but I have a stubborn one that won't give birth even after the 25 days marked for her drop, so I know they can hold their drops but for how long has any one had this happen to them if so how long did it go until she finally dropped ?? Sry...can't help you with the Gups.
As for the moss....it is true that it does not require CO2. Like any plant however, with the addition of it, it will grow much better. |

I've had mosses in two of my CO2 tanks. Growth was pretty awesome before I added CO2. With how much I had it was hard to tell if it sped up, but I assume it did. Just upping your light may do more.
