so here's the stocking im thinking for each of these tanks (dont know which im getting yet).

30 gallon
6-gertrudae rainbowfish
6-juli corys
2-cockatoo apistos
1-angelfish
1-chocolate zebra pleco L270

OR

40 gallon
8-gertrudae rainbowfish
8-juli corys
2-cockatoo apistos
2-Apistogramma Atahualpa
1-angelfish
1-chocolate zebra pleco L270

OR

maybe a 20
2-Apistogramma Atahualpa
1-dwarf gourami
6-guppies 2-male 4-female

If you put in the gertrudae rainbowfish I would leave out the angel. I thought about doing that in my 220 and was told the angels would harrass the rainbows and the rainbows can be fin nippers with the angels.

ok this is what im gonna do
im gonna keep my 29 gallon and stock it with
6-gurtrudae rainbowfish or celebes
6-juli corys
2-cockatoo apistos
1-dwarf gourami
1-chocolate zebra pleco
then get a 20 gallon and stock it with
2-german blue rams or cockatoo apistos
1-dwarf gourami
6-guppies 2-male 4-female
