Default New to forum, fish compatibility question

Okay, so I have a 70 gallon tank and these are the fish I plan on getting.
1 Bemba Flame Tropheus
1 Blue Orchid
1 Red Top Lwanda
1 OB Electric Blue
2 Purple Lupingu

My question is I have a few neon's, fancy guppies, 3 mollies, ghost knife and a rainbow shark. I know that those fish might eat the fancy guppies and the neons, but I am mainly afraid of the ghost knife. The knife hides mainly and is about 6 inches. The Rainbow shark is about 4 inches or so. I just need a little help and advice. I have tried to have bala sharks but they just keep dying and I dont want to deal with it.

There's no 'might', they will eat your other fish, especially the neons (they're the box candy of the fish world). If you want to keep African cichlids, you generally want to keep just them. They'll likely decimate your shark and ghost knife, and I know they'll kill your neons, guppies and mollies.

I figured it on the neons mollies. What if I get the fish small?

Small or large, they'll set up territories and viciously defend them. Your other fish won't stand a chance.

I've never had a problem keeping bala sharks, and actually found them to be heartier than most fish. I've had neons not make it when bala's were fine. I have lost one bala, due to a face eating by a blood parrot, but that's it.

Did you check the filter?

No I found it later on sorry forgot to add that side of the story. I found the skin like 2 weeks later attached to the filter and when cleaning the tank, I found the skeleton and the internals of it all seperated.
