Default New filter

Hello I purchased my 35g tank and they threw in an older penguin biowheel 330 but it was loud since the impeler was all hacked up and the cover would not fit right. Just installed a new penguin biowheel 350 and it is awesome! I would highly recommend it, it looks cool, very quiet, inexpensive (about 35 bux with shipping from thatpetplace). So within 2-3 hours my water was crystal clear! (the 350 is rated for up to 70g). Happy to get it clear again since I placed some new plants and driftwood with moss and patches of grass it made the tank a little cloudy but this filter really helped clean things up. Need to grab a gravel filter and a water test kit then start cycling and get some fish in there. Can't wait! I plan on a nice friendly community tank with some mollies, tetras, fancy guppies and possibly tiger barbs. I'll post pics soon!

Sounds great!

I would not put tiger barbs with fancy guppies though!

yes, thanks, I heard the tiger barbs will nip those fancy fins right off. Angel fish are supposed to be peaceful in a community tank.

Yes indeed, those would be a good choice. How many angels do you plan on? Pairs are a good idea.
