Default New addition coming soon!!!!

So my neighbor/ friend is getting rid of his 46g bow front. we made a sweet deal and I will be bring it home soon. I am going to clean it really well and make it a fresh water. IM scared of the salt. LOL. I've been wanting a bigger tank. Pretty excited. My wife is going to decorate this one also..i am going to pick the fish and maintain. I will be purchasing a test kit after the small scare I had today with the 20gl.....for both tanks...

Lucky man. Although I'm not sure I'd let my wife decorate any of my tanks! That's no insult to her, I wouldn't let anyone but me decorate mine. I have these ideas of what they should look like and that's it. lol.

I did let her pick out some Dalmation Mollies and the female gave birth to about 50 fry which we are now raising, which is fun.

Lol..... Well the 20g was originally hers but she works weird hours so I sort of inherited it. I told her she could do this one too. She has good taste and she agreed that it can't be girly! shes been looking up things all day, plus I can put my input in also.

Yeah I agree I got lucky. My neighbor has a fresh and this tank was his salt. He just got tired odd messing with his salt, he's already gave his fish away so I just need to clean up. It has a marineland dual bio wheel filter. Not sure which model...i will post pics when I get it over here. Lucky for me its not a far walk! Lol.

Well gee, if the original tank was hers, I guess you have to go with it! lol. Especially if she has good taste. And of course it depends on what you are looking for. I like show-tanks where some folks are almost purely fish-tank kind of people and some like the Ducth tank (Plants only)

I have good friend, who knows tons more than me about fish, who has a half dozen tanks that are completly BARE. His focus is just the fish and fish breeding.

I'm just waiting for someone to get tired of their 200 - 300 gallon tank, with stand and filters! Yeah, I'll be waiting a looooong time. ;-)
