Default Never again

Never again will I buy a snail from Walmart my snail they sold me I thought it was hybernating but its dead and I cant find my reciept.

Snails are just like fish, you need to drip acclimate them before you put them in your tank.

Oh man...sry about that. But for future reference, it's always best to pick snails that are either attached to the glass or cruising around. That still doesn't guarantee they will survive but it does let you know you got a live one right off the bat.

Walmart doesnt require a reciept. Take it back and tell them it was dead when you got home and put it in your tank.
