Default Need some new tank mates

I have a 55 gallon tank and am looking around for some new tank mates for my fish. I currently have 1 marbled Bichir, 1 Opaline Gourami, 5 Australian Rainbows, and 2 Plecos. All my fish are still small with the biggest being the Bichir at about 6-7 inches. It is a peaceful tank and would like to keep it that way so any schooling fish or semi-aggressive species that don't get bigger than 5-6 inches but won't be smaller than 3-4 inches would be best. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Your tank may seem slightly empty but trust me your fish are thanking you for it! What pleco species have you got? Have you checked up on how large each type of your current fish get? If not, I'd suggest doing so, remember adding more fish increases the bio load as well as may cause territorial issues. I say do some more research and then decide if adding more fish is something you really want to do. Just my 2 cents. Either way good luck!
