Default Might be getting a 55 gallon.....

So I am in the process of cycling a 29 gallon tank. Today, one of the guys that I work with said that he has a 55 gallon (with stand and everything for it) that is just taking up space in his house and he'll just give it all to me.

I'm having a hard time passing this up. It'll take alot of shuffling at home to make room as my house is small and I already have the 29 and a huge snake tank taking up the only spot that I could put the 55. Luckily, my husband seems to be onboard if I do get this tank (he's been texting me with ideas on where we could move things!). I really want this tank!!

Yea, if the tank is free why not. I would love to get a tank that size, but seeing as how I still live with my parents when I am home from school it isn't an option for me. I could maybe have a 29 or 30 gallon while living with them.

I say go for it, like beaslbob said you can always sell it later if you decide you don't want or need it.

And you already said your husband seems onboard and excited.

It will be coming home with me if I can make a spot for it. I'm thinking about moving the snake tank and the 29 gallon upstairs (not looking forward to that only because I'll have to drain the tank to get it up there) if I can make room up there for them. Then the 55 will go where the 29 and the snake tank is now. But it all hinges on whether I have room upstairs or not.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!! I really, really want this tank!!!!
