Hi,
I live in SW Florida, and my local pet store options are pretty limited (Petco). I am looking for a live plant source (preferably somewhat local) for apnogetons, cryptocorynes, and anubias. Must be snail free and able to ship. I am also looking for an aquarium decoration that has been discontinued. It was manufactured by Penn Plax as an action air item. It is a sunken side paddle wheeler boat the stock number is 0-17 or just 017. The only pic I have is from the following website it is pictured at the top second item from the left. I have contacted Penn Plax USA, and given standard reply "item has been discontinued" If anyone knows of any sources please let me know. Products - Penn Plax Toys I am also planning a new freshwater tank setup - hoping I could get some feedback on using a trickle wet/dry filter on freshwater aquariums. I would like to hear pros and cons of this type of filter system Thank you Last edited by jschwabe5 : 11-29-2011 at 12:50 PM. Reason: I'm sorry, I put this post under wrong thread |

I used an Alum dip when I ordered plants on-line and from reviews, I knew they had a problem with snails. I used an Alum dip recipe I found, and no snails.
