Light Bulb Suggestions

As I sort thru this redo of a old tank. I am coming across a few items that need be addressed due to old things sometimes need updating. In the future I will be updating my lighting but, for now I am going to deal with what I have and update bulbs for right now.

So the bulbs were bad after inspection, they are single bulb lights and I have 2 different fixtures . So what was in them was( 1) 18" 8,000K Aquarium Lamp believe 15 watt T8 style and the (1) was a Zoomed Tropic sun 18" 5500K Daylight T8 15Watt.

Question is- Suggestions on comparable setup or maybe a better setup for when I get it setup.

Please let me know specs and Manufactures for your suggestions. Thanks to all that reply.

Re: Light Bulb Suggestions

Depending on what level of lighting you aim to achieve, I would go for a T5HO fixture.

70 gallon- Betta Enisae pair, betta Ocellata pair, female Betta Pugnax

29 Gallon- Betta Pallifina and Betta Patoti

20 Gallon- Betta Gladiator

5 Gallon- Betta Channoides

And numerous Betta Splendens

Coming soon: Betta Macrostoma :D

I like Current USA, they make a Nova Extreme dual-bulb T5HO fixture that is splendid for medium-high light intensity.

ClearForLife 10G Acrylic, 4 HET rasboras, ~80 RCS, various snails. Ludwigia repens, various moss. Eheim 2211 Canister, 50W heater, Finnex FugeRay Planted+ 17W LED.

Thanks for these suggestions, will look in to these when I do upgrade, right now just want to get by with some bulbs for my existing setup. Thanks for the input. Appreciate it.

Any bulb suggestions for my t8's?

Thanks again.

Re: Light Bulb Suggestions

T8's I would just look for full spectrum. Walmart or basically any store similar would sell some that would work for now.

If i drew it it'd look like a monkey eating a horsradish on the moon or something
