Default LFS changes

It's been quite a while since I've been to my LFS. So today I decided to take a ride to a couple of them. I went to the one that used to be my favorite. They moved to a new location but they are still close to my house. I go walking in and all I see are dry goods and pets,(dogs, cats, rabbits...etc.). I walked to the back of the store and there was the fish dept., shoved into the back of the store like it was an afterthought. The tanks were cloudy and one I could not even see into. A couple of tanks had dead fish in them, and the ones that I could see into had green algee in them. I just could not believe my eyes, I started going to to that place around 1988, and boy has it gone downhill. I went to highschool with the owner, and I'm not really sure that he still owns it because I didn't see him there. I hope he doen't qwn it still because if he does he should be ashamed of himself. When it was at the other location it was always neat and clean, and the fish dept. took up 3/4 of the store. needless to say I won't be going there anymore. Just thought I'd share my expearince with you guys.

Default Re: LFS changes

I see that sort of treatment at every WalMart I've ever been to, and some LPS's. It's sad but there's really not much you can do as a customer besides refuse them business and hope they take the hint and stop carrying fish altogether.
