Default LED Requirements

Im looking into putting LED's on my tank cause i like the effects more at a low cost. I found these, HT 60 LED Double Density 39 or 78 inch Long Flexible Light Strip 12 volt White 6500K

my questions are will this be enough light for a 125g 6ft tank, they also sell a 5m strip that is waterproof for 50 bucks they are both 6500k so its good to grow but what are the wattage requirements for a tank that size with LED's and is this an option.

also if i were to buy these could I take out my cfl bulbs and use that hood to house the LED's or would i have to have a seperate and still run the cfl, would be overkill on lights but i dunno if the LED can light deep enough or not.

please advise im very interested in changing to LED's and possibly moonlight also

You forget you're asking about lights that aren't exactly mainstream yet. If you're wanting them to grow plants I can suggest a few other planted sites that may have used them before. From a FW planted perspective, most that I have seen are either getting something like what Marineland offers, or taking the chance of buying and hoping for the best. Does it give the PAR data? If you had that, would be easier to tell if t would grow plants. Without PAR data, you never know what you're getting.
