I found out what fish I really have.
Ok guys, I went to my lfs to go get some convicts and asked the guy there if he has any pink convicts so he takes me to them and shows me them and then I was like wait a second what fish do i have in my tank then. Well it isnt a convict from a long shot. So I told him that the fish was pink with faded vertical black stripes, blackish yellow fins, shiny blue by the gills( not the whole head just a small patch by the gills) and 3 yellow dots on its anal fin. So after hours and hours of google pictures i came to this picture:
Google Images except the its blue not pink. so i am pretty sure now its an acei. |

The spots on the anal fin shows to be a male, but there is a lot of different cichlids that has 3 spots and lots that has 1 or 2. I have never heard of a pink acei but that doesn't mean it isn't an albino.

well I went to my lfs and brought a picture of my fish and asked if they knew what fish was and they had 7 different people come over to see if they knew what it was including the manager. trust me, these people know there fish, they have at least 600 tanks. They had absolutely no idea what it was. they said it may be hybrid fish or a rare cichlid. I am posting more pics of him/ her.
