Default How to clean the muck?

Hi all

I have a jewel 260 litre tank and have some muck / dirt behind the fixed air pump ( on the glass ), question is: how do i clean it? the only option i can think of is to remove the fixed pump and take it out of the tank ( i also have a fluval 305, which does upto 300 litres).

What would you guys do? if i was to remove it, is it easy? am i in danger of damaging anything?

Hope you guys can shed some light

Thanks
Steve

you can buy a sponge with a handle from your LPS to clean those hard to reach places, I would try that and see how it goes

Hi

I went to my local pet store and they dont sell anythng. The gap between the filter and glass is so tight i dont think anything would go down it.

Are they easy to take off?

Hope someone can help

did you look for the mits they have that you slide your hand into, i use it as wel to slide behind the filter inlets instead of taking them out or moving, plus there good for ight spaces as well

What if you took a baster and just blew the dirt out?
