Ok so recently the bio wheel in my filter has stopped going. I cleaned out the filter to make sure everything was all right, then waited a few days and it stopped working again! Has anyone else had this problem? And how can I fix it?

Yes! I love bio-wheels but that is a problem I have had with all of them from time to time. Be sure the spindles and the seats at the end of the wheel are clean. You can polish then with emery cloth or very fine grit sand paper if they are not perfectly smooth. Make sure the tubes and holes on the sprayer are clean. A lot of those filters come with a brush and a toothpick, or paper clip, even a needle, can work wonders on the holes.
