well, its been a couple months since ive been here, heres an update if anyone was actually curious.
all 4 of my rafael catfish are still alive and my blood angel fish is still alive (those are my very fist fish in this tank) the catfish are way bigger than they were when i got them, theyre well over an inch long now each, between 2 and 3 inches long each, the angel fish has pretty much doubled in size since i got him, id say about 4 inches now. all 3 sunset fire platys are still alive, and i lost one black and one spotted platy each, leaving me with 1 of each now. and my latest edition to the tank, my pleco which has been in there about a month or 2 is doing fine and i havnt had any algae growth in the tank since i got him. the 4 catfish used to all hide in the one plant in the corner together but they kind of outgrew it and push each other out for space or until they all find space for all 4 of them. |

Good to hear that things are going well in your tank! Welcome back.
![]() P.S. What size tank do you have, and did you find out what happened to the 2 platties? Was it a water param' problem?

its a 55 gallon tank.......i just found one dead after waking up and another a few weeks later after coming home from work, i dont think it was a water problem, one of the black ones was a bit aggressive, i think he was the murderer.
