1 butterfly fish 4 silver hatchetfish 6 diamond tetras 1 kissing gourami 3 (zebra striped?) khuli loaches ratio=1male:3female any aggression or anything? order of fish of putting fish in after cycling: 1st) khuli loaches, diamond tetras 2nd) hatchetfish, butterfly fish 3rd) kissing gourami, angelfish Right now i'm just thinking about stocking for a 55g i know how to take care of an aquarium. ![]() |

I'd suggest you use a product such as bio-spira to instantly cycle the tank if the material was handled correctly. Beyond that you'd Be fine with those fish. I'd just say get another dimond tetra and silver hatchet fish each to help with their schooling.

yeah, i haven't got anything yet, even the tank, and i will one day, but soon.
By the way, i read on a article that a butterfly fish will attack and try to eat hatchetfish, i mean their mouths are HUGE~ but at the same time i saw on this one article that someone ezperienced having them together and the butterfly hangs out unviolently with the hatchetfish because they're related, so which on should i believe? |

You should believe that if it is a top swimmer and it will fit into its mouth it will try to eat it. Lots of times even if its too big. You will also need a tight fitting hood on the tank as both the hatchet and the butterfly will jump out.
