i have a jack dempsey and i was wondering what a good grouping fish would work with him. would tiger barbs work? or too small? i would like a semi to aggresive fish not too big though i would perfer under 4 inches if that isnt too small. thanks for any information.

With cichlids, you will want a school of either zebra danios (fast swimmers, grow to about 2"-3"), or tiger barbs, though the barbs can get pretty big.

what about gouramis? do dwarf gouramis like to stay in groups? if not what if i bought two to pair and wouldnt they stay together? thanks or any information
