Default Feeding peas as a treat

I swear I posted this last night but can't find it now ????? Anyhow, what I wrote about was feeding peas as a treat. Somewhere I read on here of someone who fed fresh peas as a treat. As best I could remember, I boiled 4 peas in a coffee cup in the microwave last night for a minute, then cool water rinsed them, removed the skin and dropped them in the tank.

The fish showed mild interest in them but after playing soccer with them for awhile and not biting into them, they forgot about them...... Did I do something wrong or, are my fish just not vegetarians ?

After you shell them, cut them up a little. My livebearers go crazy over them. I don't boil mine. I just throw in the microwave for about 45sec and they are good to go. A few of my fish won't touch them.

Ok thanks, I'll try that. The guppies tried picking at the one's I put in last night, the mollies just seemed to have fun running them from one end of the tank to the other..... either way, I guess they got pleasure out of them.....

I am going to give this a shot!
What other veggies can be fed as treats?
