Any tips or tricks out there to get all of the fish in your community tank eating well enough to live happily?
I've got a beautiful blue halfmoon betta, 4 danios, 3 cories (peppered, albino, and green), and 3 ghost shrimp. The danios (fast little devils) eat up most of the flake that stays on the top, the betta eats pretty healthily, but I'm worried that the cories aren't getting enough leftovers to maintain healthy eating habits.

Get some sinking pellets for the cories. They like shrimp pellets rather well. There are also disks made for cories and other bottom feeders.

I use the shrimp pellets for my Cories. Only other fish that tries to eat those is one of my adult Angels.

pellets do work well.. if you throw those in at the same time as the flakes, your other fish will pass them up.. possibly. lol

It is funny watching the little fishies hit the pellets and waffers as they sink to the bottom.
I like to use the outflow from the HOB to dispurse the food as well. |

Yeah, if you use different types and textures (sinkers, floaters, pellets) the different types of feeding behaviors will segregate the foods pretty well. The top feeders love the flakes but don't like spending the time and energy pecking at the wafers to get more than a little of them, and if a pellet sinks right into the substrate a cory is going to have a much better chance of ferreting it out with their feelers than a danio will. Just watch that the variety doesn't tempt you to overfeeding.
