Default Which external filter please

Hi Im going to get my external filter tomorrow and have three to choose from for my 200 liter tank but I cant decide.
Choices are
1. Tetra EX700 for tanks up to 250 liters...13w...700 liters per hour
2. Eheim 2224 professionel for up to 250 liters...8w...700 liters per hour
3. JBL cristalprofi e900 up to 300 liters...??? w...900 liters per hour

As a complete novice to outer pumps I really need one thats reasonably easy to set up and maintain. A big plus with the Tetra and JBL is that they come with filter materials but as far as I can make out the Eheim doesnt.
Please help me choose.

I would say go with the eheim. ive just recently bought one and i love it. it does a great job and i cant even tell its running unless i put my hand infront of the spray bar.
I will also tell you that my ehein 2217 came with filter media so I would guess that yours does too, I just dont think they advertise it well because I bought media not knowing that it came with it so now I have too much.

Thankyou Drunkenbeast its always great to hear from someone who actually has an aheim and likes it. Good to know that it comes with some filter material too cause I would have done the same as you and bought some otherwise. I hope that this time tomorrow my fish will think xmas has come a couple of days early.

I operate 4 different models of Eheim and love them all. I would double check that it comes with media, not all of mine did and it had to be bought separate. If that is the filter you go with. I'm not sure if that ones does or not. I would call a place that sells it online and ask.

Sorry guys for not taking your advice on the eheim. When I got to the store today they had a special offer on the JBL so thats the one I went for. Installed it without any problems. It came with filter material and lots of extra fittings. I didnt put the spray bar on cause the manual advised against it if you have plants. Im having to treat the tank with ich treatment cause I noticed a couple of fish with white spots :( Thats delayed things for now but the tank looks quite nice with a blue tint!
