Expert Advice Needed!
Hello guys,
I have a 60 gallon community tank with some 4 tiger barbs, 2 red glass barbs, 3 rosy barbs, 1 red tail shark, and 3 gouramis. I am thinking to buy some peaceful African cichlids (if any). Any suggestions? Please?? I know some South American cichlids are OK to keep in community tank (such as Rams), but what about Africans?... I heard that Acei cichlid is kinda peaceful... Please HELP!!! THANK YOU!   |

I use to keep Aggressive Africans so i can't help you in the aspect of peaceful Africans, but I can say that you probably wont be able to mix them perfectly since true Africans are use to swimming in a pH of 8.2 while your community fish are more use to 6.5-7.0. Just something to think about.
