Default cycleing tank

Ammonia dropping away, but nitrite and nitrate now off the chart after about 2.5 weeks.... hope this is all as it should be

It is, assuming you're still adding ammonia through some sort of source? Otherwise your cycle is stalling.

You are stlll at the beginning of cycling. In two or three weeks your Nitrites will start to drop. Your Nitrates will not drop unless you make water changes.

You're on your way!!!! While you wait for it to cycle, I suggest browsing Craigslist for your 2nd tank! :D (or 3rd, or whatever the case may be!) HA!
