Cool Crazy spawning.

I do not know why but my 7 harlequin rasboras are always spawning! Anyways it just that I do not know how to take of fry. Anyways one of the males is always eating the eggs, but I just kinda feel bad for those unborn babies. What should I do. In fact while I write this they are doing the nasty .
PS. I cannot feed live food.

You can setup a tank for them to spawn in,and then raise the fry that way.Of course without live food theres a chance the fry will starve.

Maybe add marbles to the bottom of the tank?Or get some java moss. The fry will hide in there and also use it as a food source.

I cannot use the marble idea because they lay eggs on the plants but the java moss idea is good.

If you can't remove the adults, what I would do is get a very large piece of Java Moss or similar moss. Java is always cheaper.

Here's the trick, since they are egg layers, chances are they won't use the java moss. But, you will actually use the moss as a "blanket". After the spawn is done, take the moss the a surround the plants with the eggs. This creates a barrier between the adults and the eggs. As well, will also provide cover for when the eggs hatch.

Another thing you can do, depending on how your tank is, is to get some plastic craft mesh. Use it to create a divider. This may be a bit harder to do as it will depend on the layout of your tank.
