Sooooo... I have a beautiful 65g tall aquarium in storage until we move and have the space to set it up. I've spent lots of time dreaming about what I'd eventually like to put in it.
![]() The tank was originally bought new by my dad, who kept fish in it for a few years. When he took the tank down, I used it for my lizard. Now that I think about it... I can't remember if I just rinsed the tank with hot water whenever I cleaned it out, or if it had soap used in it. It's been years since I had the lizard, and the tank is sitting empty. Would it be possible to put hot water and vinegar (or hot water and bleach) in the tank and just let it sit for a few hours, then scrub it and rinse it well, and then be able to use it for fish - or, have I ruined it by 'possibly' using soap in it many a year ago? ![]()

Thaaaanks! I feel a bit better now! (Lol, dreaming of setting up a fish tank while trying to fall asleep, then realizing you may have destroyed the tank with soap is NOT fun!)
