Common Goldfish Diseases~How to Identify?

I have a 29 gallon aquarium with three common/comet goldfish (purchased as feeder fish). I've had one for about 5 years now, and he's big and happy.
My issue is that (for a few weeks I've noticed) he's been having little white bumps on his body. It is not severe and I haven't seen any on the other fish, but I am concerned with the disease.

It almost seems like fungus (definitely not velvet) or a very small tumor. He also has a few white scales. I've noticed the growths here and there around his body and one on his head. They definitely aren't breeding tubercles (they are much too big) and it isn't ich either.
Any information or help regarding the disease is much appreciated! Thanks!
Good luck with your fish keeping,

Can you take a photo? Also, are they fuzzy-looking bumps or do they look like grains of salt?
