Depends. If it's a white-ish cloud its a bacteria bloom from a tank establishing its nitrogen cycle, or particulates from unwashed filter media, in which case give it time and it will go away. If it's green (dip a towel in the tank to see the color), then it's an algae bloom and you should turn your lights off, cover the tank with garbage bags, and starve the algae for 10-14 days.

dont dip a towel in there as there could be soap in the towel. You can use a white cup just as easy. Also only cover the tank for 4 to 5 days if its algae.
