Default check out my new 2.5g setup (PICS)

so i decided to set up a 2.5g on my bedside table to look at, as i needed a lamp there anyways!!! :icon_twis

its a 2.5g
-aquaclear 20
-hagen marina 10w heater
-fluval nano thermometer

and for the lighting i got creative, i purchased a gooseneck lamp from walmart, and found a 10 watt compact fluorescent 6500k bulb too!!!

will i be able to grow plants in here with this lighting? i was reading on the reef forum some kids used these bulbs with nano reefs.

its full of baby convicts right now so i can pick the best one for my 29g.. i might stock it with a betta and an otocat and a few snails once the convicts are out.

just an update, put the lamp on top of the filter aiming down at the tank, and added a piece of driftwood.. and i also cut a piece of plexi glass for the top of the tank in case the light falls in if i bump it or something haha. added cycled media last night before bed and it seems to be clearing up now.
