cheap pump to transfer water
looking for a cheap pump to do water changes. local petsmart has hagen powerheads. im not sure if a powerhead would be able to push the water from the bottom of the barrel 6ft up to the top of the tank. just looking to move 30gal of water into tank once a week.
any suggestions. if someone has used a powerhead for this and it works, what size? thanks, brett |

I went to lowes and bought a fountain pump. Mine was on clearance 20 bucks. I just attached a hose to it.
