Not really dwarf frogs do carry salmonella and shouldn't be handled.

African Dwarf Frogs don't come in albino.
That's an African Clawed Frog. It will get big. Like.... one needs at least a 10g tank, and it will eat your fish when it gets bigger. And they do breathe air. They jet up to the surface, take a gulp and then go back down. Don't handle it, as it can give you salmonella, but it's skin is very sensitive and you can pass toxins to the frog through it's skin. You need to feed him blood worms and brine shrimp, not just frog pellets. (Frog pellets only can cause stomach blockages.) African Dwarf Frogs only get to be 2 inches in size and their eyes are on the sides of their heads. They also have skinny legs. African Clawed Frogs get big and have eyes on the top of it's head (like yours) and the back legs are very chunky. Here's some pics to help identify: Albino African Clawed Frog - African Clawed Frog (albino) | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Holly clawed frogs don't have web feet on front legs. And yes you can get them in albino, pink and I have seen a few other colors.

Front legs don't look webbed. Can OP confirm this? That will be tale-tell sign.
And yes, the potential for Salmonella does exist. Just like handling other species, proper cleaning should be observed after handling them. |

This is definitely an Albino African clawed frogs, Xenopus laevis. I have yet to see a dwarf available in albino, even if they are available this is already larger than dwarf frogs get.
They will take high quality pelleted foods, which is a much healthier option. I only feed and recommend New Life Spectrum. IME it is by far the healthiest thing out there right now. Any aquatic environment can grow salmonella. That is not the concern in a well maintained aquarium unless you have a severe immune problem. Aquatic amphibians like this should not be handled. There is no need and it is stressful and risky for them.

I didn't see any webs on the front feet.... and so far, from all the magazines I've read, and the research I did before getting my Dwarf Frogs, I haven't heard of any albino dwarfs....

It is an albino african dwarf frog. They absolutely do come in the albino variety, I have had one for two years. The clawed frogs eyes are positioned squarely on the top of the head while the dwarfs eyes are on the side. Enjoy him, I love mine!

That is absolutely definitely not a dwarf. That is the full size African clawed frog, Xenopus laevis.

For sure, an Albino Clawed. I'd bet my tanks on it! Eye placement, big back legs, and no webbing on front toes proves it.
