Default Buying fish online

I've never bought fish online. It seems weird to ship live fish. Do you have to sign for them? Surely they can't be left at your door if you're not home.

I can't find yoyo loaches in my area, though. I was sold two by accident as Angelicus Loaches. They must have made their way to petsmart by accident somehow because they were def yoyo's and petsmart doesn't carry them.

One jumped out of my tank and apparently two was the magic snail killin' number. Can anyone suggest a good website to buy these guys? I'd hate to buy some and have them show up dead.

I haven't done it, but I have heard lots of things about aquabid.com, which is probably where I'm headed for my next few fish.

The problem, if you call it that, only ordering one or two fish it becomes pretty cost prohibitive. But, it you don't care about that.... Live stuff will always be shipped overnight.

I have had good luck with aquariumfish.net and not so good luck with azgardens. Liveaquaria is pretty expensive compared to af. Don't forget aquabid.

Yes, they will leave at your door.

The advantage of shipping, for me at least, is availability. Often LPS and LFS don't have the fish you want.
