My blood parrots have eggs, cleared out under the treasure chest down to the glass, and are hovering in the chest. Seems one of my bala's got to close and bam, mangled face of death. They chase others away when they get close.
Origionally in my 75g with 2 firemouths, i moved them and one firemouth to my 125g with my 6 bala's, 2 common pleco's, and blue lobster. 2 weeks later I moved my other firemouth over. Now the firemouth that got moved with the parrots won't leave their side, while the other just roams free happily. Problem is, they don't want him at their side right now. Is there anything I can do to help ease the tension?

Best way to help with this issue, if you don't want to separate the inhabitants into different tanks is to use a divider. They sell dividers made from mess screens. You can also easily make one from simple items found at a hardware store.
The parrots will eventually kill all who they view as a threat to their spawn. Hope this helps.
