Months ago I got an awesome blue lobster to add to my 125g. About 2 months later, (s)he had eggs under her tail. The kids noticed them and pointed them out. They said we'd have baby lobsters. I said I didn't think so, but at their age I didn't want to go any further. When I was feeding my fish just now, I dropped vegi rounds for larry(the lobster), to eat, because they're his favorite. I drop about 6 pellets in hoping one will make it to the bottom so he can grab it. Well, 3 made it the bottom, and larry was on his way. Then, something appeared from under the one rock and grabbed one and pulled it under. It was a baby blue lobster. Larry couldn't fit under, but I'll be damned if he didn't try. Then one of the other pellets disappeared. In total, I've spotted 3 baby blue lobsters, each around 1cm long. But they don't have pinchers, so I'm guessing htey come in later.
My question is, I only had one lobster... How do I now have several?

I heard it was a pita to breed them, and they're about the most hostile tank conditions, ph is about 9.2, nitrites are a bit high, as it's a self-contained tank, with enough vegitation to match the fish, but it's filled with semi-agressives who would easily eat anything small. I even have 5-6 feeders in the tank at any given time in case someone gets hungry. I don't do water changes, and filter is every 2 months, I only add in water when some evaporates off. I keep temps at 85F at all times, so maybe 10gal added per month. Yet I have 3 lobsters that are in fact blue, which means they've gotten past the toughest part according to what i read.
