What are the best plants for an aquarium? Is there anywhere they can be brought online for a larger selection?

It depends on your lighting. Some plants will grow in low light, some in medium light and others need intense light to do well. Any of the larger online venders sell plants online.

I've always liked aquariumplants.com

They have a large selection to choose from for all kinds of lighting. The plants arrive in good health. I'd buy from them again...

Amazon Swords and Anubis are great low-mid light plants.

If you will state what type of lighting and the wattage a better recommendation can be made. Not all plants will grow the same in the same light.
