Air Stones?
I guess I am still classified as a noob so I have got a question.
I have a 27 gallon cube will a bood bio wheel filter. My air pump died so I need to know if I really need one? I have read know but I want to know if thats right? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

i have the same tank i think, i have a air stone for looks that it, but its the only tank that i have with one, the rest i dont its not necessary

Unless you have fish the need extra oxygen, you don't need an air stone. They look kind of cool and some fish like to swim through the bubbles, but it's not a necessity.
