Air Pump Noise Tetratec aps300
Hi. Just bought a Tetratec aps300 and concerned about the noise. It is on a solid surface and catching nothing to vibrate on. Even loud if I hold it.
Says it is ultra quiet. Have I got a bad one or is it quieter than other makes? When restrictor is closed not too bad but once I open them up it gets louder and louder. Any ideas Markyp |

its probably about an average sound. I havent used my air pumps because the buzzing is annoying. Your best bet would be to be it on something rubber and/or that would absorb the vibration but to my knowledge youll have to deal with it

I put my air pumps on top of a towel. When I have company staying in the room, I even wrap the towel around the pumps (though, for heat buildup I usually leave the towel unwrapped).
