Wink 100 dollars later

Ahhh, so excited. I waited all day yesterday and finally went to dinner at 530 pm. I knew it said my 46 inch LED light was out for delivery but I figured they ran out of time. Came home and it was in the door! I jumped out of the car before it stopped LOL. Then we decided to take in our pleco Norm cause he was flippin around at night and it was causing sand to get in the filter. We got 3.50 store credit. So then we are walkin around and see the aquaclear filters which I'm a huge fan of. We already have 2. Nick wanted to get another 50gallon one. But looking at the prices the biggest one was cheaper than the 2nd biggest. They said that they got a good deal and passed on the savings! So now we have the 110 or whatever on our 55 tall which needs water movement anyway. ALSO found these crazy "whisker shrimp" that are like ghost shrimp on steroids! I asked if they breed and she said yes but she thought it was hard... Got home to see there was one with eggs attached to her! YAY! Anyone know if she will eat her young? Ooo almost forgot. Also got a pink plant. Like really pink. Not sure of what it is but it was cheap and is gorgeous so I hope it grows. Anyone know what it is? It's got all sorts f white roots hanging from it. But yeah, good night.. 100 bucks spent well

Oh yeah and forgot to mention the greatest part. When we were leaving my 2 year old daughter Joss wanted to say goodbye to Norm our pleco. So we took her to the tank and she started balling and putting her hand on the tank. And the fish lady came over and explained that there was another fish in there that someone brought in and his name was chubs. And that he would take care of Norm and they would be friends. She balled half the way home. I should have brought my cam!

That is so cute. You have to admire little kids who are so caring about animals. It helps counter balance all the *******s out there who abuse and neglect animals because they don't care anymore (if they ever did).

Totally agree! And she is such a caring little girl. She loves her fish and can tell the difference between them, and knows their names.

My youngest son is 3 and he is not as interested in fish as he is the cats and dog, but he knows the difference between the larger fish that I have pointed out to him and can distinguish them by name (most of the time).

So sweet <3 the best thing about kids is their innocence. My daughter is the same way.
