Exclamation Hey Come to the Last IMAC !

Hi All;

Since the special for IMAC expired at the end of March, we came up with another one especially for clubs. For everyone who registers at the regular rate, you can bring up to 3 people who get full registrations just for the price of a Banquet ticket.

Since this will be the last IMAC, I would like to make it a big one so this will be the last big special we will offer. This may be the last big aquarium conference near you in quite a while so hurry over to International Marine Aquarium Conference (IMAC) - Main Index and sign up today.

Here are the Speakers:

Dr. Sanjay Joshi: “Reef Lighting”
Dr. Ron Shimek (2 presentations): “Currents & Feeding Corals” and “It’s Not As Bad As We Thought; It Is Far Worse”
Frank Burr: “Self-sustaining Marine Biospheres”
Matt Pedersen: "Fish Breeding"
Scott Fellman: “Marine Biotope Aquariums: Taking Inspirations From Nature”
Adam Cesnales: “Form Meets Function: Designing Your Refugium to Work Harder”
Jake Adams: “Fluid Dynamics for the Reef Aquarium”
John Coppolino: “Rare Angels”
Dr. Adelaide Rhodes: “Frontiers in Fish Growing - Newest Technologies in Aquaculture that can help the Hobbyist”
James Fatheree: “Tridnacnid Clams – Diversity and Lighting Needs”
Tony Vargas: “Tubbataha – Unexpected Paradise”
Tim Hayes : “How to Be A Better Reefkeeper”
Allen LaPointe: “Water Quality Monitoring and Data Interpretation”
Tullio Dell Aquila: “Full Spectrum LED Systems for Aquariums and Aquaculture Use”
Tom Frakes (Banquet Speaker): “Global Warming: Reef Tanks and the World”
Robert “Bob” Fenner: “Mixed Reef Livestocking: Techniques and Approaches for Avoiding & Reducing Allelopathogenic Effects”

Cheers,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for the heads up. Wish you all the best with the show.
May I ask why is this the last IMAC? Perhaps you can PM if its private information...
Kind regards and welcome aboard Aquarium Forum.

Hi MediaHound;

It's partly because of health reasons and partly because after 6 years of putting on IMAC I thought I would have a little more help. I put on MACNA IX when I was with CMAS (Chicago) and I had a whole club behind me, but doing IMAC all by myself is quite a job. I'm afraid I need a rest. I just hope this last one is a biggie so we can go out with a bang. So far, it looks good.

Cheers,

Dennis

Talking Re: Hey Come to the Last IMAC !

Hey Everybody;

We increased the room block and the hotel extended the cut off date to register for the $119/nite rate to May 12, so hurry up. There are a couple of other big conventions in town then so the rates will go way up after Monday.

We are also offering a couple of real specials. For every full registration, you can bring up to 3 people who will each get full registrations just by buying Banquet tickets, but do it quick since we have to give the hotel our final banquet count by next week. And we also have our "Friends & Family" Special for just $35, or $45 at the door. You can see all the speakers and exhibits, get in on the raffle, get a "goodie bag" and Program Book and a bunch of raffle tickets. Everything except the banquet. What a deal!

This will be the last IMAC so let's make it a great one.

Happy Reefkeeping,

Dennis
